CuteNote Terms of Service
Last updated: September 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to CuteNote's website at cutenote.co and its related note-generation, transcription, recording, storage, sharing, export, and AI question-and-answer features (the "Service"). In these Terms, "CuteNote," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the provider of the Service, and "you" refers to the person or organization using it.
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old, or the higher minimum age required where you live. If you have not reached the age at which you can enter this agreement independently, your parent or legal guardian must consent to your use and agree to these Terms. If you use CuteNote for an organization, you must have authority to act on its behalf.
Provide accurate account information, keep access to your sign-in email and authentication credentials secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.
2. What CuteNote provides
CuteNote helps transform supported links, text, documents, images, audio, video, and recordings into transcripts, summaries, structured notes, mind maps, and other supported outputs. Available features depend on your account, selected plan, input type, and technical limits.
Third-party websites and content providers control access to their own content. A link may become inaccessible, change, require authentication, or fail to process. We do not guarantee support for every source, file, language, or format, or that every generation will succeed.
3. Your source material and recording permissions
You retain any ownership rights you have in material you submit, including links, text, uploads, recordings, and questions ("Input"). You must have the rights, permissions, and lawful basis needed for CuteNote and its service providers to access and process that Input. Public availability alone does not establish permission to copy, transcribe, adapt, or publish someone else's work.
Before recording or uploading conversations, meetings, classes, interviews, or other people's voices or personal information, provide any required notice and obtain all required permissions. You are responsible for complying with recording, privacy, confidentiality, and intellectual property requirements that apply to your use.
Do not submit passwords, access tokens, payment-card details, or other secrets. Do not submit sensitive or confidential material unless you are authorized to do so and the Service's processing and visibility settings are appropriate for that material.
4. Content rights and permission to operate the Service
You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to receive, retrieve, store, copy, transmit, process, and transform your Input, and to store and deliver the resulting output, as necessary to provide the features you use, maintain security, and resolve support issues. This permission extends to service providers working on those functions. It permits public display and distribution only for content made public through the Service's visibility behavior or your sharing choices.
As between you and CuteNote, you retain your rights in Input and may use the generated output to the extent permitted by applicable law and third-party rights. We do not claim ownership of your original material. AI output may not qualify for intellectual property protection, may resemble output supplied to others, and may contain material subject to someone else's rights. These Terms do not grant rights in third-party source material.
The permission above lasts for as long as needed to deliver the Service and handle permitted retention described in the Privacy Policy. Removing content does not recall copies other people have already obtained.
CuteNote's software, branding, designs, and other materials, excluding your content and third-party materials, remain protected by their respective intellectual property rights. Using the Service does not transfer those rights to you.
5. Public notes and sharing
Notes generated from supported public links may be public by default. Public notes may be accessible without signing in, appear in public discovery pages, be indexed by search engines, and be viewed, shared, or copied by others. This may include the note's title, generated content, and source attribution. Review a note's visibility before using the Service for material you do not want made public.
Notes from private inputs, such as pasted text, uploaded files, and recordings, are treated as private by the Service. Some link types are also treated as private. Where available, use the visibility controls to make an eligible public note private. Making a note private or deleting it cannot remove copies, exports, or search-engine caches held by others. You are responsible for content you export or distribute outside CuteNote.
6. AI limitations and your review
AI-generated transcripts, notes, answers, and other output can contain inaccuracies, fabricated statements or references, missing context, and incorrect speaker attribution. Output does not necessarily represent our views or faithfully reproduce the source.
Review important output against the original material before relying on it or sharing it. CuteNote does not provide professional medical, legal, financial, or other regulated advice. You remain responsible for decisions and publications based on the output. Do not use output as the sole basis for decisions that significantly affect someone's rights, health, safety, or access to essential services.
7. Subscriptions, billing, and usage allowances
The price, currency, billing interval, included allowances, and feature limits shown at checkout apply to your purchase. Monthly and annual subscriptions may be offered. An annual billing interval does not necessarily mean that all usage allowances are issued annually; allowances may renew each subscription month as described in the offer.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the applicable interval until canceled. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring charges through our payment processor, Stripe. Applicable taxes and the total payable amount are presented during checkout. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion or other charges.
You can cancel automatic renewal in billing settings before your next renewal. After an ordinary renewal cancellation, access continues through the paid period unless you delete your account or access is suspended under these Terms. Signing out or simply stopping use does not cancel a subscription. Account deletion is a separate action that ends access and cancels the associated active subscription.
Usage is subject to the plan's measurement rules, per-item limits, and processing restrictions. Quota estimates may differ from final measured usage. Allowances have no cash value and are not transferable between accounts. Carryover, expiry, promotional credits, and any adjustments for failed processing follow the terms displayed for the relevant allowance. Do not assume unused subscription allowances roll over.
Cancellation does not automatically refund amounts already paid. For billing mistakes, duplicate charges, service problems, or refund requests, contact support@biostore.cc with your account email and relevant transaction details. Any refund commitment expressly included in your purchase applies. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, refund, or other consumer rights under applicable law.
If a payment fails, paid access may be restricted until payment is resolved. We will communicate material changes to recurring prices before they apply, and obtain consent where required. You may cancel renewal before a new price takes effect.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use CuteNote to:
- Violate laws, infringe intellectual property, or disclose personal or confidential information without authority.
- Create or distribute content involving child exploitation, unlawful threats, targeted harassment, fraud, or other unlawful harm.
- Upload malware, attack the Service, interfere with other users, or attempt unauthorized access to accounts, networks, or data.
- Circumvent access restrictions, payment requirements, usage limits, or safeguards, including by abusing multiple accounts or promotional credits.
- Impersonate another person, misrepresent your rights to source material, or present generated output deceptively as a verified record.
- Use automated access in a way that bypasses documented limits, disrupts the Service, or accesses data you are not permitted to obtain.
We may investigate suspected misuse and restrict access to offending content or accounts. We do not review or endorse every source or generated note.
9. Rights complaints
If you believe material available through CuteNote infringes your rights, email support@biostore.cc. Identify the protected work or right, the specific CuteNote URL or material, your contact details, and why you believe the use is unauthorized. For a copyright notice, include your signature, a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized, and a statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them, under penalty of perjury where required.
We may request additional information, restrict the identified material, notify the affected user, and take further action as appropriate. This process does not limit any rights or procedures available under applicable law.
10. Availability, suspension, and termination
We may maintain or change the Service, and outages or third-party failures may interrupt access. We will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice of a material discontinuation and an opportunity to export your notes where practicable. Any prepaid-service remedies required by law remain available.
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these Terms, nonpayment, a security risk, unlawful activity, or a legal requirement. Where practicable, we will explain the reason and give you a reasonable opportunity to address the issue. Immediate action may be necessary for urgent risks or legal restrictions. Contact support if you believe an action was taken in error.
You may stop using the Service at any time and request or initiate account deletion. Export anything you need before deleting your account. Deletion ends your access; retention and deletion of related records are explained in the Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature must survive termination, including payment obligations already incurred, intellectual property, and liability provisions, continue to apply.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free output, or that the Service will meet every requirement.
To the extent permitted by law, CuteNote is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business opportunities, or loss arising from reliance on inaccurate AI output. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the fees you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing here reduces mandatory consumer guarantees or remedies.
12. Resolving concerns and general terms
Please contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern. Doing so is voluntary and does not prevent you from seeking an available legal remedy, contacting a regulator, or filing a claim within an applicable deadline. These Terms do not require binding arbitration or waive collective remedies available under applicable law.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. A failure to enforce a provision immediately is not a waiver of that provision. These Terms, together with specific terms presented and accepted for a purchase or feature, form the agreement for your use of the Service, subject to mandatory law.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will update the date above and provide reasonable notice of material changes through the Service or appropriate account communications before they take effect, except where urgent legal or security requirements require otherwise. Where consent is required, we will request it. Changes do not retroactively alter accrued rights. If you do not accept a change, you may stop using the Service and cancel renewal.
For account, billing, content, or other questions, contact CuteNote Support at support@biostore.cc. Please include your account email and a description of your request. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details.
